What is the dress code for your wedding?
The attire is Black Tie Optional. Think tuxes or dark suits for the guys, and floor length or midi dresses for the gals. Keep in mind, the ceremony will take place on grass.
Are children welcome?
While we love all the children in our life, this event will be adults only.
Will the event be indoors or outdoors?
The wedding will take place outdoors. The ceremony will be on grass and the reception will be tented. Please choose your footwear accordingly. April temperatures in Virginia can be a little unpredictable, so be sure to check the forecast!
What time will the ceremony take place?
The wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 4 pm on Friday, with the shuttles departing the hotels for Eastwood at 3 pm (see schedule below). Please keep this in mind if you plan to arrive on Friday, as the hotel check in time is either 3 or 4 pm, depending on the hotel.
What should I wear to the welcome party?
If you are able to join us on Thursday at the Space for drinks and dessert, we are requesting semi-formal attire (e.g., dress shirts and slacks, dresses/skirts).
What is the shuttle schedule?
Omni and Residence Inn guests will be picked up at the Water St. Bus Station, which is close to both hotels (see picture below). Google maps link to bus stop: click here.
Fairfield Inn guests will be picked up at the hotel.
Schedule:
3:00 pm - Guest shuttles depart Water St. Bus Station (Residence Inn, Omni, and downtown guests - Pickup spot #1)
3:20 pm - Guest shuttles depart Fairfield Inn for Eastwood (Fairfield Inn guests - Pickup spot #2)
3:30 pm - Guest shuttles arrive at Eastwood
9:00 pm - Early departure shuttle to Water St. Station + Fairfield
10:15 - Final departure shuttles to Water St. Station + Fairfield
